Yasemin told us interesting facts about Turkey and then read some traditional Turkish folktales -- in Turkish as well as in English! The language sounded very new to our ears, but beautiful, too. Yasemin also helped us to compare our alphabet with the Turkish alphabet, and we found a few interesting differences and new sounds. We had a great time learning to count and say a few words and phrases, too!
