On Thursday, July 21st, we were visited by Aurora Green. She read a story about Ole Brumm, a story in Norwegian about Winnie the Pooh. He and his friends worked together to get ingredients for Nut Cakes. A student read the English translation as Aurora read in Norwegian, so we could all understand the story as it progressed.
Norway's flag is red with a blue and white insignia. We made bookmarks that showed the Norwegian flag while we listened to a folk song called "King of the Campground." Camping is a favorite activity of Norwegians.
